Our National Union represents people in many different sectors. Communications Workers of America primarily represents telecommunications workers. We also represent workers in medical facilities, cable and wireless companies and the newspaper and broadcasting industry to name a few. CWA LOCAL 7970

CWA Local 7970 represents our members for our bargaining unit of CenturyLink in Oregon and Washington. These employees also worked for United Telephone N.W., Sprint, and Embarq before the merger. We help bargain the labor agreement contract for these employees. We also provide representation in disputes between bargaining unit members and management. Our members are involved community members, hard working employees and dedicated to their craft. We are proud to represent these people.
