Grievance
# O-06-01 - Contracting of work, all classifications, all districts. This has been met on at first level and denied.
Second level meeting is Tuesday, Feb. 28th. Company requested extension for data gathering and the fact that things are so
busy with the conversion to new company-granted. May 17th, grievance denied 2nd level. 3rd level meeting set for June 27th.
At 3rd level it was agreed that this grievance would be placed in abayance to be the main topic of discussion at our first
strategic council meeting. The new strategic council is a regional meeting between top managers and union officials. If we
can't come to a resolution at that point then the grievance would be re-opened. First CRC meetings were set up to
form the CRC and the rules around it. Bargaining delayed them again. Topic still pending discussion at the CRC
when it comes back together.

did not give 2.9% in year one to Repair Reps. The union is asking that the 2.9% be paid retroactive to January 1, 2008.
Has been met on and is pending 3rd level meeting in early April. 3rd level meeting was held on 4-10-08. The company
is holding firm on their stance. Pending 3rd level answer from company at his time. Company denied. Union
decided not enough written evidence to proceed with arbitration. Very unfortunate situation and the Union will require

will be effective Nov. 08. Grievance closed under protest.
